What can I expect when I request assistance?
When a call is received at the Beacon Rescue Contact Centre, the Call Coordinator will listen to the customer’s concerns and request for service and ask for the customer’s name and Vehicle Registration Number to verify his/her coverage status.
They will then proceed to ask for the customer’s location, nature of the incident/emergency, if there have been any injuries, and if transport is required. Once all the relevant information is acquired, an agent is dispatched, normally the closest unit to the customer’s location. The Beacon Rescue Call Coordinator will also call the customer at regular intervals until assistance arrives.
Average Arrival Time
The minimum response time is 25 minutes however, this may vary based on location, traffic, weather, and roadside agent’s proximity. Our promise is that you will be kept in the loop during the dispatch process.
What if I’m not happy with the Beacon Rescue ETA and call an independent provider?
In cases where a customer is required to wait longer than one hour and thirty minutes, we will reimburse the customer once all bills are provided. The same applies should there be an instance of excessive delays when a customer shuts down at night or in an unsafe area.
Are there any restrictions?
The service excludes ‘H’ registered vehicles and any vehicle exceeding 1.5 tonnes net weight.
